YANGON, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar attracted over 333 million U.S. dollars in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2025-26, according to figures released by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) on Tuesday.
During the period, the manufacturing sector attracted the most FDI with over 190 million dollars, followed by the transport and communication sector and the power sector, it said.
In the 2024-25 fiscal year, Myanmar secured more than 690 million dollars in FDI. ■
