BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Tonga Islands at 0642 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 90.8 km, was initially determined to be at 16.20 degrees south latitude and 173.63 degrees west longitude. ■
