YANGON, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- The Myanmar Power and Solar Energy Storage Lighting Expo 2026 kicked off in Yangon, Myanmar, on Friday, featuring hundreds of Chinese solar products.
The three-day exhibition, organized by Myanmar DPES Exhibition Co., Ltd, attracted more than 70 exhibitors.
The Chinese products on display included solar panels, inverters, batteries, and electric vehicle chargers.
The expo focused on localized applications, the integration of smart technologies, international cooperation, and innovation in niche sectors, and also aimed to help enterprises better understand policy directions and identify market opportunities, the organizer said.
According to the organizer, the event serves not only as a platform for technological display but also as a key bridge for driving industry transformation and connecting opportunities for cooperation.
Wang Zhangcheng, general manager of Myanmar DPES Exhibition Co., Ltd, said the exhibition aims to address Myanmar's power shortage by attracting Chinese companies, strengthening China-Myanmar relations, and creating opportunities for mutual cooperation and integration.
The exhibition covered nearly 9,000 square meters and featured 77 exhibiting brands. Chinese companies such as Livoltek, Growatt, Skyworth, Absen, and GoodWe, as well as Sigenergy and other technology firms, showcased their products at the exhibition.
The exhibition will run through Sunday. ■
