HANOI, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam plans to establish a network of artificial intelligence (AI) experts to support key national AI development programs, local media VnEconomy reported Wednesday.
Under the plan, the country aims to select 100 outstanding experts. Vietnam has contacted 306 out of over 500 specialists worldwide, the report added.
According to the report, the experts will be involved in four key task areas, including policy consultation, applied research, human resource training and application implementation.
The Southeast Asian country aims to rank among the world's top 30 countries in terms of AI readiness by 2030, the report said. ■
