HANOI, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's index of industrial production (IIP) grew 9.2 percent in 2025, local media VnEconomy reported Tuesday, citing the National Statistics Office (NSO).
According to the NSO, the manufacturing and processing sector increased 10.5 percent year-on-year, contributing 8.4 percentage points to the overall growth of the sector.
Industrial output rose across all 34 provinces and centrally-run cities, with several localities posting strong gains in manufacturing, processing and electricity production, the report said. ■
