HANOI, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 8.02 percent in 2025, driven mainly by the services sector and industrial production, local media VnExpress reported Monday, citing the National Statistics Office.
The result raised the country's average GDP growth for the 2021-2025 period to 6.3 percent, 0.1 percentage points higher than the previous five-year period.
According to the report, Vietnam's GDP is estimated at 514 billion U.S. dollars, up 38 billion dollars year-on-year, while GDP per capita reached about 5,026 dollars. ■
