ULAN BATOR, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- A total of 124,945 foreigners were granted Mongolian electronic visas in 2025, marking a 14.1 percent increase from 2024, official data released by the country's immigration agency showed Saturday.
As Mongolia's economy relies heavily on the export of mineral resources, boosting tourism has become a key priority for diversifying the economy.
To support this initiative, the Mongolian government has decided to extend the "Years to Visit Mongolia" tourism program until 2028.
