MANILA, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- A 19-year-old male was killed and 45 others injured after a tourist bus overshot a highway and tilted on its side in Quezon province on Luzon island in the Philippines, police said on Monday.
The bus, which was carrying passengers from Metro Manila, was traveling to a youth camp when the accident occurred on Monday morning in the town of Infanta, police said.
Several of the injured passengers were in serious condition.
The bus driver was taken into police custody as authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash. ■
