KABUL, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Afghan authorities have completed the construction of 19 schools in various districts across Laghman province this year, according to a report from the official Bakhtar news agency on Friday.
The projects, which were fully funded by the government, aim to strengthen the region's educational infrastructure and provide greater access to schooling, especially in rural and conflict-affected areas, the report said.
In addition to the educational projects, Afghan authorities have also launched the construction of a major trading center along the Kabul-Jalalabad highway in eastern Laghman province. This new facility is expected to enhance trading opportunities and stimulate economic growth in the province, offering both local and regional benefits. ■
