Kazakhstan's oil exports surpasses annual target

ALMATY, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Kazakhstan exported 73.4 million tonnes of oil in the first 11 months of 2025, fulfilling the annual export plan of 70.5 million tonnes ahead of schedule, according to a senior energy official.

The country's oil and gas condensate production reached 114.1 percent of the level recorded in the same period of last year, the Kazinform news agency reported Wednesday, quoting Kazakh Vice Minister of Energy Sungat Yesimkhanov.

Gas production totaled 62.8 billion cubic meters, or 116.7 percent year on year, meeting the annual plan, said Sungat, adding that liquefied petroleum gas output amounted to 2.8 million tonnes, or 101.8 percent year on year.

Gas transit through Kazakhstan reached 64.5 billion cubic meters, or 100.9 percent year on year, he said.
