KABUL, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Afghan authorities officially inaugurated two newly renovated school buildings in Zebak district, located in the northern Badakhshan province, marking a significant step in improving educational infrastructure in the region, provincial officials said on Saturday.
Abdul Ghani Abedi, spokesperson for Badakhshan's Education Department, confirmed that the renovation project was fully funded by the provincial budget. The upgrades were carried out using modern construction methods, ensuring the buildings meet current educational standards.
This initiative is part of the country's ongoing efforts to enhance educational facilities in remote areas, aiming to provide better learning environments for students in underserved regions of Afghanistan. ■
