ISLAMABAD, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan has received about 1.2 billion U.S. dollars from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the State Bank of Pakistan said on Thursday.
The development followed the completion of the second review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and the approval of the first tranche under the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF), the central bank said in a statement.
The disbursement will be reflected in Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves for the week ending Dec. 12, the central bank added. ■
