YANGON, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- The 2025 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair kicked off in Yangon on Friday.
The event was organized by the Chinese Textile & Garment Association in Myanmar in collaboration with the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA).
This event aims to foster long-term business cooperation, and strengthen economic ties between Myanmar, China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries and ensure the sustainable development of Myanmar's garment sector, according to the MGMA.
The fair features over 100 exhibitors, including 10 prominent Chinese brands, showcasing textiles, garments, related accessories and textile machinery.
Made in Myanmar products are also on display at the event, it said.
The three-day expo will run until Dec. 7, the MGMA said. ■
