SEOUL, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- A passenger ferry carrying about 260 people ran aground in waters off western South Korea, multiple local media reported Wednesday.
The ferry went aground in waters off Sinan county, about 310 km southwest of the capital Seoul.
The coast guard was conducting rescue operations. No other detail was known. ■
