KABUL, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Afghan police have arrested 29 individuals on charges of involvement in criminal activities from across the country over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said Tuesday.
In a series of operations to stabilize law and order elsewhere in the country, police arrested 29 persons from different provinces, said a statement posted on the ministry's X account.
The alleged criminals, according to the statement, were involved in human trafficking, document forgery and theft. ■
