ULAN BATOR, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's inflation rate, as measured by the consumer price index (CPI), rose to 9.2 percent in October, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO) on Tuesday.

The figure marks a 2.6 percentage point increase compared with the same month in 2024, and a 0.6 percentage point rise from September, the NSO said in a statement.

Mongolia's central bank aims to keep inflation within 5 percent (±2 percentage points) from 2027 to ensure macroeconomic and financial stability.

Meanwhile, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has predicted that Mongolia's economy would grow by 5.8 percent in 2025 and 5.5 percent in 2026.
