COLOMBO, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Thursday reviewed the final draft of the 2026 Budget proposals at the Presidential Secretariat, the President's Media Division said.
Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, Harshana Suriyapperuma, was present during the review.
The 2026 Budget, the second under the current government, is scheduled to be presented to Parliament on Friday by Dissanayake in his capacity as Minister of Finance. A debate of the budget will commence on Saturday. ■
