YANGON, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and seven others injured on Sunday in a road accident in eastern Myanmar's Shan state, a local police officer told Xinhua on Monday.
The accident occurred in Kengtung township of Shan state, he said, adding that the vehicle overturned, reportedly due to speeding.
All the victims were males. One died at the scene, and another died upon arrival at the hospital, he said.
The injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment, he added. ■
