BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted Mindanao, Philippines, at 2303 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 9.62 degrees north latitude and 126.28 degrees east longitude. ■
