HONG KONG, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 jolted 199 km W of Abepura, Indonesia at 0548 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 70.1 km, was initially determined to be at 2.31 degrees south latitude and 138.86 degrees east longitude. ■
