NEW DELHI, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- At least five persons, including three women, died and one was seriously injured when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in India's northern state of Haryana early on Saturday.
The mishap occurred in Haryana's Gurugram district, on the Delhi-Jaipur national highway. Gurugram Police spokesman Sandeep Kumar said the accident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. local time.
"There were six people inside the vehicle. Four died instantly, while one injured woman died in the hospital. They were related to each other. One person is still admitted at a local hospital. Families of the victims have been informed," he added. ■
