YANGON, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar will hold a traditional boxing competition in Yangon on September 28, according to the Myanmar Lethwei Federation on Friday.
"The main reason is that high-quality traditional Lethwei matches have been unavailable to fans, so we are arranging quality bouts for them," an official from the federation told Xinhua.
The event will feature 10 bouts, including four-round and five-round challenge matches, and will also include fighters who have defeated Golden Belt champions, he said. ■
