KABUL, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Authorities started the construction of six school buildings in western Afghanistan's Herat province, reported the official news agency Bakhtar on Thursday.
The schools are in Anjil and Rubat Sangi districts to facilitate villagers sending their children to school, the report added.
Citing Mawlawi Rahmatullah Jabir, provincial education director, the news agency added that the administration would do its best to build more schools and educational centers to encourage families to send their children to school. ■
