ALMATY, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- A traffic accident in Kazakhstan's Mangystau Region has left 10 people dead, the Kazinform news agency reported Thursday.
The accident occurred about 90 kilometers from the village of Senek in Karakiya District. Preliminary findings show that a minibus overturned into a roadside ditch after the driver lost control.
Eight people died at the scene, while two others died on the way to the hospital. The driver and two passengers were injured and hospitalized.
A pre-trial investigation is underway to determine the full circumstances of the accident. ■
