ULAN BATOR, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 5.6 percent year on year in the first half (H1) of 2025, according to data released by the country's National Statistics Office (NSO).
The Asian country's GDP amounted to 15.3 trillion Mongolian tugriks (about 4.2 billion U.S. dollars) in the January-June period, the NSO said.
The growth was primarily driven by increased value-added contributions from the agricultural and construction sectors, as well as the service sector, said the statistical agency.
Mongolia's GDP grew 4.9 percent in 2024, earlier data showed. ■
