BISHKEK, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product (GDP) rose 11.5 percent to reach 9.9 billion U.S. dollars in the first seven months of 2025, the National Statistical Committee reported Friday.
The service sector contributed 51.1 percent of GDP, while commodity production sectors accounted for 32.8 percent, and taxes on products made up 16.1 percent.
In the first half of 2025, trade in goods totaled 6.99 billion dollars, down 12.4 percent from the previous year. Exports fell 26.3 percent to 1.05 billion dollars, while imports decreased by 9.4 percent to 5.95 billion dollars. ■
