SYDNEY, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Australian police are investigating the murder of a man who was found with stab wounds in the garden of his east coast home.
A police statement said on Tuesday that emergency services were called to an address in the beachside suburb of Warana, 80 km north of Brisbane, after a neighbor found the man unresponsive in the front garden of the home at around 7:35 p.m. on Monday.
Officers attending found that the man, aged 57, had multiple stab wounds to his abdomen, and he was declared deceased at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and police have commenced a homicide investigation. ■
