NEW DELHI, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Indians were elated on Monday as the news of undocking of spacecraft "Axiom-4" from the International Space Station (ISS) spread on social media.
Indian Air Force's Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and three other astronauts completed their 18-day stay at the ISS, and they were expected to return to Earth on Tuesday.
Hailing from Lucknow, the capital city of India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh, Shukla piloted the Axiom-4 mission.
Media reports quoted the Indian astronaut's father Shambhu Dayal Shukla as saying: "During a call on Sunday, he said 'I'm coming. We will meet soon, Papa'". ■
