VIENTIANE, July 11 (Xinhua) -- A total of 62 people were killed in road accidents across Laos in June, a decrease from the previous month of 70.
Laos recorded a total of 520 road incidents nationwide, resulting in 738 injuries and 62 fatalities, and 924 vehicles damaged in June, the local news website Lao Phattana News reported on Friday.
Lao capital Vientiane recorded the highest number of road accidents in June, with 103 cases and 19 fatalities.
In May, Laos recorded a total of 532 road accidents nationwide, resulting in 800 injuries and 70 fatalities with 931 vehicles damaged. ■
