DHAKA, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's inflation decreased to 8.48 percent in June from 9.05 percent in May, according to the latest data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).
The consumer price index released by the BBS showed that food inflation decreased to 7.39 percent in June from 8.59 percent in the previous month.
Inflation for non-food items decreased to 9.37 percent in June from 9.42 percent in May, the data showed. ■
