BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Brunei has achieved significant progress in technology such as rolling out 5G connectivity, e-payment system and digital identity, a Bruneian minister said on Tuesday.
These advancements ensured that Brunei stayed at the forefront of new technologies, continued to attract quality investments and provided benefits to businesses, Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, minister at the Prime Minister's Office and second minister of Finance and Economy, said at the Brunei Business Conference 2025.
He said over the years, Brunei has undertaken significant steps to streamline policies and regulations to create a more investor-friendly environment. ■
