HANOI, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's agro-forestry-aquatic product exports totaled 33.5 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of 2025, up 14.3 percent year on year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said on Monday.
Export revenues from agricultural products rose by 16.8 percent to 18.3 billion dollars, while revenues from husbandry products increased by 10.1 percent to 264 million dollars.
Fishery exports grew by 14.5 percent to reach 5 billion dollars, and forestry exports expanded by 8.8 percent to 8.7 billion dollars.
Shipments of coffee, rubber, pepper, and cashew nuts recorded strong growth, whereas exports of rice and vegetables declined compared to the same period last year, the ministry said.
The ministry said it would continue to stabilize traditional export markets and explore potential new ones in order to achieve the sector's export target of 65 billion dollars by the end of 2025. ■
