WELLINGTON, May 29 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Winston Peters has completed a visit to Nepal, marking the first official trip by a New Zealand foreign minister to the Himalayan nation.
A New Zealand government statement said on Thursday that the visit celebrated the enduring bond between the two countries.
The high-level talks between Peters and top Nepalese political leaders focused on regional security, global peacekeeping, and strengthening multilateral institutions, the statement said. ■
