NEW DELHI, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Two persons died and four others were injured when a fire broke out at a private e-charging station in Delhi, confirmed a senior official of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) on Sunday.
The incident occurred due to a short-circuit in East Delhi's Shahdara district in the early morning.
The fire broke out inside a tin-shed area with an e-charging station for private vehicles called "e-rickshaws" meant for short-distance travel by local commuters.
"Two charred dead bodies were recovered from the spot. Four injured persons were rescued and admitted to a local hospital," said the DFS official. ■
