ISLAMABAD, April 28 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were killed and seven others injured when a jeep fell into a ravine in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, officials said.
The accident occurred near Jabori area of Mansehra district when a jeep traveling from Sundi Gali to Jabori lost control due to a brake failure and plunged into a gorge, an official from the state-run emergency service Rescue 1122 told Xinhua.
Following the accident, local residents and rescue teams rushed to the scene and launched a rescue operation.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where the wounded were receiving medical treatment. ■
