NEW YORK, April 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted northern Sumatra, Indonesia, at 19:49:21 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 2.10 degrees north latitude and 96.87 degrees east longitude. ■
