TOKYO, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Japanese chipmaker Rapidus announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to collaborate with Singapore-based semiconductor design firm Quest Global on technical support and cooperation in customer acquisition.
Quest Global, which operates in 20 countries, will provide engineering support to Rapidus. Additionally, with its customer base in sectors such as aerospace and healthcare, Quest Global will assist Rapidus in securing clients when its advanced semiconductor production starts in 2027.
The Japanese chipmaker emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating that it could help connect the company with previously untapped customers.
Meanwhile, Quest Global expressed a commitment to expanding AI-related customer networks together with Rapidus. ■
