NEW YORK, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 296 km WSW of Tual, Indonesia at 21:41:08 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 111.4 km, was initially determined to be at 6.81 degrees south latitude and 130.35 degrees east longitude. ■
