NEW YORK, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 254 km E of Levuka, Fiji at 22:10:39 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 535.9 km, was initially determined to be at 18.20 degrees south latitude and 178.28 degrees west longitude. ■
