NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Izu Islands, Japan region at 19:55:20 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.56 degrees north latitude and 141.95 degrees east longitude. ■
