DHAKA, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh shipped goods worth 4.11 billion U.S. dollars in November, an increase of 15.63 percent year-on-year, showed data released by the Export Promotion Bureau on Wednesday.
Of the total earnings, the country's income from ready-made knitwear and woven garment items surged 16.25 percent to 3.3 billion dollars during the cited period.
Total exports in the first five months of the current 2024-25 fiscal year (July 2024-June 2025) reached 19.9 billion dollars, up 11.76 percent year on year.
Bangladesh has set its export target in the 2024-25 fiscal year at 50 billion dollars, including 40.48 billion dollars from ready-made garment products. ■
