MANILA, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- At least one person died and another one has been missing in a fire that razed houses in the Philippine capital on Thursday, a local radio reported.
The Philippines' Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire, which broke out in the afternoon in Quezon City, torched several houses in a crowded community with narrow alleyways.
Firefighters took over an hour and a half to put out the fire.
The bureau has been looking into the cause of the fire. ■
