KABUL, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Four commuters have been confirmed dead and three others sustained injuries as a car collided with a head-on-vehicle on a road linking the Afghan capital city Kabul to the eastern Logar provincial capital Pul-e-Alam on Monday night, reported the state-run Bakhtar news agency on Tuesday.
Without providing more details, the state-owned media outlet blamed reckless driving for the deadly accident, adding that traffic police initiated an investigation into the road crash.
A similar road accident left eight travelers dead in the southern Uruzgan province on Monday morning. ■
