BEIJING, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Hokkaido, Japan Region at 1411 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 109.8 km, was initially determined to be at 42.81 degrees north latitude and 143.63 degrees east longitude. ■
