SINGAPORE, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore recorded 1.27 million visitor arrivals in September, up 12.3 percent year-on-year, according to the latest statistics released by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
More than 540,000 visitors stayed overnight in Singapore last month, down 34.7 percent year-on-year. The overnight guests spent 3.29 days in the city-state on average, dropping 9.9 percent from last year.
The Chinese mainland continued to top Singapore's visitor sources in September, with over 217,000 travelers, followed by Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, and India. ■
