HONG KONG, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted Papua New Guinea Region at 08:41 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 195.3 km, was initially determined to be at 5.49 degrees south latitude and 147.52 degrees east longitude. ■
