SINGAPORE, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Singapore registered 327 dengue cases from June 30 to July 6, bringing the total dengue infections to 9,583, according to the latest data released by the National Environment Agency (NEA).

The weekly reported dengue cases resumed an upward trend after falling under 300 for two consecutive weeks in the city-state.

Singapore recorded 82 active dengue clusters, including 15 with a red color alert, across the island as of Monday.

NEA warns that the local population's immunity to all four dengue virus serotypes remains low and a surge in dengue cases may occur in the coming months without sufficient actions.
