SINGAPORE, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone will pay an official visit to Singapore on Tuesday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Monday.
He will call on Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and meet Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The two sides will sign Memoranda of Understanding in the areas of carbon credits and education cooperation, the foreign ministry said. ■
