ISLAMABAD, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted multiple operations across the country and seized over 630 kg of drugs, the ANF said Tuesday.

During four counter-narcotics operations, the force arrested several drug traffickers while seizing narcotics including hashish and opium, while confiscating several vehicles that were being used for smuggling, the ANF said in a statement.

According to officials, about 510 kg of opium and 120 kg of hashish were recovered in three different operations in the country's southwest Balochistan province, adding that the operations were conducted in the Pasni, Pishin and Quetta districts of the province.

Separately, 700 grams of hashish were recovered from a vehicle intercepted in the eastern Rawalpindi district. An accused was arrested during the operation.
