HONG KONG, April 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted Bonin Islands, Japan Region, at 08:35 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 523.8 km, was initially determined to be at 27.87 degrees north latitude and 139.58 degrees east longitude. ■
